Thermohair Inc.

Thermohair Inc has been around South Mountain, ON since 1990. We offer socks that have a yarn blend of 75% kid mohair and 25% nylon before they are knit. Once knit, the nylon and kid mohair content slightly changes based on the type of sock style (approximately 70% kid mohair and 30% nylon).

Mohair is known to be very warm and durable. It can outlast cashmere, alpaca and wool. We have had a third party official lab test our socks in comparison to wool and alpaca and our socks have outlasted those test better than wool or alpaca.

Mohair is not a wool and is classified as an animal hair. A completely different fiber. This means that for people who are allergic to wool can wear these socks. There are very few people that are allergic to both wool and mohair.

We offer socks in crew style, therapeutic style (ideal for diabetics or people with Raynauds), ankle style, sport style and sport ankle style.

Most people, after trying one pair, are hooked and are repeat customers.
