Since 1985, OCL has been offering adults with developmental disabilities encouragement, opportunities and experiences through programs where they can grow, learn and thrive.

Ottawa-Carleton Lifeskills Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that supports Ottawa day programs for adults with disabilities in their quest to live an independent and inclusive life in their community. OCL provides opportunities to encourage self-development, foster interdependent relationships with other members of the Ottawa community and promote socialization among our clients. The mission of Ottawa-Carleton Lifeskills Inc is to provide a range of programs and services designed to enable individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in the community through employment and education opportunities, as well as through recreational activities such as sports teams and social clubs. We offer a variety of programs and services including employment support, education and training, recreation, socialization, recreational therapy, and respite care. The goal of OCL is to help individuals achieve their full potential as individuals by providing opportunities for personal growth that will enable them to live independently in the community.
